Pebble Cottage is perfectly positioned in the heart of the gorgeous Dorset coastline. Swyre is a beautiful little hamlet, surrounded by farms, streams and rolling hills. Just down the road is the Bull Inn, a great place to grab a pint or two. The Jurassic Coast Road is but 5 minutes away. This incredibly scenic route connects Abbotsbury and Burton Bradstock, with Swyre in the middle. The drive is truly breathtaking.
If you wander down one of the many footpaths, you’ll get to West Bexington Beach, part of Chesil Beach. This is a little known jem, with mile upon mile of beautiful beach.
10 minutes drive away is West Bay. If you’ve watched Broadchurch, you’ll know the famous cliffs and landmarks need no introduction. This bustling little harbour is great for crabbing, or finding some unique antiques.
Further along the coastline is Charmouth and Lyme Regis. Try your luck by looking for a fossil! The beach and river is wonderful for paddle boarding or simply splashing about!
